ST Patrick’s learner Landile Shabane (Grade 7A) was at the YCAP Summit 2026 yesterday at Investec Bank, Sandton — representing all of KZN as the only learner chosen.

She was accompanied by Mrs U. Pillay, our Deputy Principal, who is dedicated to YCAP action and youth leadership. Special thanks to Mr G Dlamini, our Principal, who drove them to the airport and who is always hyping and investing in our learners and the projects happening at school.

On 23 April 2026, we celebrated World Book Day. We extend our sincere gratitude to the UMdoni Library Services for hosting the reading competition.

Learners from three grades—Grade 3, Grade 5, and Grade 6—participated enthusiastically, with three top positions awarded in each grade.

Reading truly opens doors to endless possibilities. Well done to St Patricks Primary School for this wonderful achievement.

UMzinto Taxi Association sponsored 5 of our learners with full school uniform.
