Embassy of Japan Visit

St Patricks Primary School was privileged to welcome representatives from the Embassy of Japan Excellency Ambassador Shimizu Fumio and Ms Higuchi Kumiko Second Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in partnership with the YCAP Group. The visit provided learners with an enriching cultural and educational experience.

The programme was facilitated by mentors Ms A. Maharaj, Ms A. Dlamini, and Mrs U. Pillay, with the support and the dedicated teaching staff.

We sincerely thank the Embassy of Japan and the YCAP Group for this valuable opportunity.

Moments like this remind us why education matters❤️

ST Patrick’s learner Landile Shabane (Grade 7A) was at the YCAP Summit 2026 yesterday at Investec Bank, Sandton — representing all of KZN as the only learner chosen.

She was accompanied by Mrs U. Pillay, our Deputy Principal, who is dedicated to YCAP action and youth leadership. Special thanks to Mr G Dlamini, our Principal, who drove them to the airport and who is always hyping and investing in our learners and the projects happening at school.
