As-Salaam Educational Institute has taken a proactive step in addressing the deteriorating condition of local road by initiating a road repair programme focused on filling potholes and improving accessibility within the community.
Following the heavy rains experienced over the past few weeks, the condition of the roads worsened significantly. Potholes became deeper and wider, making daily travel increasingly difficult and, in some cases, hazardous for both motorists and pedestrians. This situation particularly affected learners, staff members, and the local taxi operators who provide essential transport services to the community.
