We are incredibly proud of Cam Miell, an SVPS past pupil who is currently playing in the England U20 Rugby Team. Recently, Cameron was in Cape Town for the Rugby U20 World Cup and took time out between his team's quarter and semi-final games to join us for the handover of our newly sponsored 1st team rugby kits by RE/MAX Premier Cape Town.

Not only did Cam hand over the new kits, but he also shared words of wisdom and inspired our boys with his journey and experiences. His dedication and achievements are a true testament to what hard work and passion can accomplish.

The England U20s went on to win the U20 World Cup! Congratulations, Cam, and thank you for inspiring the next generation of rugby stars at SVPS.

Past pupils Ethan Cunningham, grade 10 Rondebosch Boys and Sarah Mia, grade 9 Herschel Girls School, made it to the regionals of the 2019 ESKOM Expo for Young Scientists.

They competed against 400 learners with outstanding science projects in the Western Cape and were both awarded Silver Medals in their categories.

Congratulations Ethan and Sarah, we are super proud of you both!
