🌍♻️ As Zero Waste Week comes to an end, we’d like to highlight the pioneering work of Dreamcatcher South Africa, who have for many years been addressing waste challenges in our communities while implementing responsible tourism that helps spread the economic and geographical benefits of tourism
Together with Stilbaai Coastal Cleanup, Henque Waste, Anti MorsJors, and the Goukou Waste Warriors, they’ve been raising awareness and taking action to reduce waste and protect our environment. 💪🌱
But there’s still a lot of work to do – especially when it comes to poorly functioning landfill sites, which continue to threaten both the environment and public health. Just last week, AfriForum released a report showing that only 22% of landfill sites they monitored meet minimum standards.

Let’s keep working together for cleaner, healthier communities.
