Save the Date! 12th International GAJE Conference – Justice Education in a Changing World – Exploring new approaches to global challenges

On July 23–26, 2025, Lazarski University in Warsaw, Poland will host the 12th International GAJE Conference (Global Alliance for Justice Education), organized in Poland. In addition, the Training of the Trainers event will be on the 22nd & 27th of July. This annual global event is devoted to key issues related to legal education and its role in improving access to justice.

The conference will bring together professors of clinical law, lawyers, social activists and students from around the world, creating a platform for the exchange of experiences and best practices. Participants will take part in discussions, workshops and sessions presenting innovative methods of educating future lawyers.
As the organizer of this year's event, Lazarski University plays a key role in promoting modern methods of legal education that have an impact on building a more just and equal society. The conference emphasizes the global importance of legal education and the role of universities in shaping new generations of lawyers working for social justice.

ANNUAL GAJE MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

Dear GAJE Member

You should have received a standard renewal notice reminding you that your GAJE membership must be renewed by November 1 and some of you have already renewed your memberships. All GAJE members are required to renew annually so that we can keep our list of active members accurate. GAJE memberships remain free, and renewal is quick and easy. All you have to do to renew is click on the link in the reminder, login with your email and password, and click on the button "RENEW TO 1 NOV 2022."

Another purpose of the annual renewal requirement is to encourage updating of member profiles. So as you renew you membership, please take a moment to update your profile by completing the various fields. Members have access to a more extensive member profile feature that other members can access through the membership directory. Keeping our profiles updated makes the directory more useful for all members. (To edit your profile, click on the "EDIT PROFILE" button that appears at the top of the renewal page.)

Finally, any General Member who now meets the requirements to become a Voting Member—participation in at least two of the following GAJE activities: attendance at GAJE worldwide conferences or regional activities supported by GAJE, such as regional conferences, TOTs, etc.; or active membership on a GAJE committee or working group—can send an email to [email protected] listing their qualifying activities and their status will be changed.
