Get ready to savor a delicious and quick meal with this Pepper Steak Stir Fry! Bursting with vibrant flavors and packed with colorful vegetables, this dish is perfect for busy weeknights.
Tender strips of beef are stir-fried with crunchy bell peppers, garlic, and ginger, and doused with a savory sauce that brings everything together. It’s not just a treat for your taste buds; it's also a great way to enjoy a balanced meal in under 20 minutes. Whether served over rice or noodles, this stir fry is sure to become a family favorite. Let’s dive into the recipe!
1. Start by heating half the oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the sliced bell peppers for 3-4 minutes, or until tender, then set them aside.
2. Add the remaining oil to the pan. Thinly slice the steak and cook it until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Then, add the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional 3-5 minutes.
3. Return the peppers to the pan with the steak. In a separate bowl, mix together cornstarch, honey, coconut aminos or soy sauce, and 3 tablespoons of water.
4. Pour the sauce mixture over the steak and vegetables, cooking until thickened, about 3 minutes. Serve over rice, noodles or quinoa for a delicious meal!
