We at Goggabos Daycare & Aftercare Centre believe that every child deserves a joyful, engaging, and meaningful learning experience. Our educational programme is carefully designed to nurture confident, curious, and capable learners while ensuring they develop the essential skills needed for future success.
We proudly follow the CAPS (Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement), the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for children from birth to four years, and the Early Learning and Development Areas (ELDA). These recognised South African frameworks ensure that every learning experience is purposeful, age appropriate, and developmentally enriching.
Learning at Goggabos is never limited to worksheets or classroom instruction. We believe children learn best through active participation, exploration, creativity, conversation, and play. Every day is filled with exciting opportunities that encourage children to think, discover, create, and grow.
Our classrooms are built around exciting weekly themes that spark curiosity and imagination. These themes are supported by beautifully designed learning resources, including our exclusive Goggabos Flash Card Programme, which strengthens vocabulary, language development, early literacy, mathematical concepts, general knowledge, and critical thinking through fun, interactive activities.
Children also participate in our structured Science, Discovery and Environmental Awareness Programme, where they investigate the world around them through simple experiments, observation, exploration, nature studies, and hands-on activities. These experiences encourage questioning, problem solving, and a lifelong love of learning.
Physical development is equally important. Our comprehensive Physical Education Programme helps children develop balance, coordination, strength, agility, body awareness, and confidence through exciting movement activities, obstacle courses, games, ball skills, and outdoor play. These activities also promote teamwork, resilience, perseverance, and healthy lifestyles.
Language development is encouraged every day through storytelling, conversation, singing, rhymes, puppet shows, dramatic play, our interactive Let’s Talk Programme, and rich vocabulary activities that help children become confident communicators.
Our mathematics programme introduces number concepts, patterns, shapes, measurement, sorting, sequencing, and problem solving through practical, enjoyable experiences that make learning meaningful and fun.
Creativity flourishes through daily art, music, movement, construction, sensory play, imaginative play, and hands-on activities that encourage children to express themselves while developing fine motor skills and confidence.
Children also enjoy engaging theme tables, educational games, puzzles, building activities, and carefully planned learning centres that promote independence, cooperation, creativity, and exploration. Every activity has a purpose and supports the development of important cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language skills.
