Before the cranes. Before the skylines. There were hands learning a trade.

This photo from our archives shows a proud moment as BTC receives recognition from struggle icon Walter Sisulu, presented on behalf of the South African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In 1993, when South Africa was rebuilding itself, BTC Soweto was established to rebuild Soweto - one bricklayer, one plumber, one carpenter at a time.

30+ years later, our mission hasn't changed. CETA accredited. Community rooted. German precision meets Soweto resilience.

We didn't start yesterday. We started with a vision to build a nation.

We are BTC Soweto. Builders Training Centre. Since 1993.
