At Impact Divers & Cape RADD, we believe the ocean has the power to change the way we see the world and the animals we share it with.

Our adventures are about creating memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences while helping guests see sharks in a completely different light.

By getting into the water and experiencing these incredible animals in their natural environment, we can better understand the threats sharks face and why protecting them and their habitat matters.

We also creat accessible conservation to show marine conservation isn’t just for scientists. Every diver and snorkeller can make a difference through responsible ocean experiences, sharing knowledge, making better choices and supporting organisations working on the front line of marine conservation.

MPA Day is always a highlight on the Cape RADD calendar. This year was no different; we celebrated our amazing MPA with a free MPA day workshop for the Ocean Pledge Ambassadors, as well as a free guided snorkel in the Kelp forest for our community. Read More:

The Great African Sea Forest isn't just blue and brown. You can find every colour hidden within the magical and mystical canopy of kelp.

A big territorial Red Roman checks you out as you glide past.

Bright yellow false plum anemone cover the forest floor.

Pink entrusting coralline algae grows, providing food for grazing limpets.

A Pyjama catshark sleeps in a crevice surrounded by strawberry anemone.

A Cape compass jelly floats through the kelp forest.

Hidden in plain sight, a common octopus uses its colour changing chromatophores and texture changing papillae to match the forest floor.
