24SumMore Maths Competition

The 24SumMore Maths Competition is an initiative by Peregrine Capital to energise maths learning in an exciting and fun way for both learners and teachers.

It helps young learners build confidence in mental maths while allowing them to compete for prizes. In 2025, 48 Pick n Pay School Club Schools in Gauteng have been invited to participate. The competition is open to Grade 5 and 6 learners who love a challenge. The goal is to find South Africa’s best young maths champions and crown them as the 24SumMore winners! Johannesburg learners are getting ready for the 24SumMore competition ahead!

With the 24 SumMore kits now in schools, learners have been practising the maths game as they work towards earning a place in their school's top 6 and then competing for one of the top 2 spots that will secure a place in the semi-finals.
