Look who was on the front page last week!

Our incredible CEO, Donna Shefer, sharing our campaign - where we ask everyday South Africans to turn their fitness goals into impact by running for education.

Donna has pledged her first half-marathon (next month) to support a special pooled fundraising campaign, with funds shared across education initiatives on the platform. More details to follow soon.

Uviwe recently earned his provincial colours after competing at the U15 Provincial Chess Tournament in George ♟️

But stories like his are possible because of dedicated teachers investing their passion and time into mentoring students.

Masiphumelele High School is currently raising funds to help retain a vital teaching post that also keeps the school’s chess club running.

Local crowdfunding initiative turns sporting energy towards education A Cape Town-born education crowdfunding platform is calling on South Africans to turn their next run, walk or personal fitness challenge

Last year, Thami earned a place on an elite academic tour to Australia, an opportunity reserved for some of the country’s top-performing students.

But despite qualifying, he couldn’t go. The funds just weren’t there.

Now, for the second year in a row, Thami has qualified again, a reflection of the resilience, discipline, and determination that got him here in the first place.

We’re now in the final stretch to help get him there.

R60,400 has already been raised, and we only need R20,000 more to cover the final flight and travel costs standing between Thami and this life-changing opportunity.
