Despite a cool and rainy day, our children managed to plant their own vegetables in the garden, learning invaluable lessons about plants, veggies and how things grow! Having a small vegetable garden at home in a sunny, north facing spot, is an excellent learning opportunity and a source of interest and fun.

What beautiful fruits God made for us to enjoy! Fruit Salad Day was great fun as each child got to cut up fruit to add to the scrumptious big fruit salad! Thanks to our ever supportive parents for the lovely donations.

Our children arrived at school wearing their beautiful Easter Hat creations, and then enjoyed a fun Easter Egg hunt together. Let us always remember in the midst of the fun, that Easter is about our Saviour and messiah Jesus who died and rose again.

The rain cleared just enough for all our helping people to pose for their photograph. What a lovely array of firemen, engineers, nurses, doctors, policemen and soldiers we had at school. Well done everyone!

We have to say that the parents and extended family members of our children are totally awesome, having all turned out enthusiastically to support the children on Family Day! After presenting their songs, the children made their own fridge magnets assisted by their parents, and delicious refreshments were enjoyed by all.

At Manor Pre Primary School, we strive to support good parenting and foster positive working relationships between teachers and parents. Parents enjoyed a fun-filled hands-on parent information evening where the teachers explored different aspects of concrete learning. Thank you to our supportive and interested parents, and to our superb teachers for preparing such informative activities.

What better way to spend a summer morning than playing with water and different gooey substances! Water Play Day was filled with fantastic tactile experiences as the children explored and learned together. Children learn through concrete activities, and 3D tactile experiences are invaluable in brain development for future learning. Thank you teachers for preparing such a fun day!
