Gideon Academy A home schooling center where children get 1 one 1 assistance and learn in a small class environment.

A fluffy bunny. A clucky chicken. Even a squishy silkworm. You’d have to be blindfolded to miss the delight in a child’s face when they interact with other living things (that aren’t human of course) but there’s much more to children and animal interactions than meets the eye.
Kids love furry cuddles and experiencing the different ways that animals look, eat, move, sound and feel. Research shows that animal interactions can actually improve children’s social interaction, reduce stress and anxiety and increase motivation and learning. 🐇🐓

Grow garden grow!!!
Children can learn new skills, have fun, play and develop self-confidence by spending time in the garden tending plants and growing their own food. Most children enjoy being outdoors and love digging in the soil, getting dirty, creating things and watching plants grow. 🥦
