In an exciting milestone for regional collaboration, Yoma united an incredible group of ecosystem partners, youth leaders, innovators, and BLNE regional stakeholders in Pretoria, South Africa this week💚. The focus of the gathering was the Green Youth Force Design & Implementation Workshop, aimed at shaping the future of sustainable youth development.

Working closely alongside Generation Unlimited (Gen U), UNICEF country representatives from Botswana, UNICEF Lesotho, Namibia, Eswatini and UNICEF South Africa, and our broader ecosystem partners, we dove deep into co-creating sustainable pathways for young people.

Through collaborative sessions and ecosystem planning, conversations explored how digital innovation, climate action, and regional partnerships can work together to create more accessible and inclusive opportunities for youth across the BLNE region 💻🫱🏽‍🫲🏽

The Green Youth Force initiative has the potential to drive a powerful triple impact across the region: 🌱 Youth economic empowerment and future-ready livelihoods, 🌍 Accelerated climate and environmental outcomes ,⚡Stronger systems, partnerships, and workforce development pathways.

As Yoma technology continues to support these pathways, the workshop highlighted the importance of building systems that are youth-centered, accessible, and designed for long-term impact at scale ✨
