Rustenburg Local Municipality, in partnership with the city of Lahti in Finland, recently hosted the Environment School Competition for primary and secondary schools which our school participated in. With the Theme: " HOW TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE".

Primary schools were to choose between Waste and Water for their respective presentations. We chose Waste. Through our design and coordinated efforts, we were chosen in the top four list of achievers which received 2nd prize and were selected as overall winners which received the first prize of enjoying the ride to the Vaalkop Dam on the 5th June 2014.

We will will be taught of the Water Purification Systems, recycling, Saving Lives, etc.
