Qualification
National N Diploma or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Recognized teaching qualification (Diploma in Education, B.Ed., Adv Dip TVT, PGCE)
Moderator Certificate registered with the relevant SETA.
Training in blended learning methodologies.
Training in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training would be advantageous.
Experience
Minimum of 5–10years' lecturing or teaching experience within a TVET College, private higher education institution, or accredited training provider.
Proven experience delivering both theoretical and practical training in the relevant subject area.
Experience developing lesson plans, learning material, and student assessments.
Experience conducting formative and summative assessments and providing constructive learner feedback.
Sound knowledge of the DHET TVET curriculum, QCTO occupational qualifications, and SETA requirements.
Experience maintaining accurate academic records, attendance registers, assessment documentation, and learner portfolios.
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for academic and administrative purposes.
Experience managing diverse classrooms while promoting learner engagement, discipline, and academic success.
