Today our Wildflower class explored colour, texture, and creativity through painting.🌷
Painting helps children
• Build fine motor strength for writing ✋
• Improve hand eye coordination 👀
• Make choices and solve problems 🧠
• Express feelings in a safe, fun way 💛
• Grow confidence through “I did it myself” moments .
Most of all, it gives them time to slow down, focus, and enjoy the process.🌸

Day 1 of term 1 2026!✏️
Our Grade R and Grade RR classes were full of excitement and joy this morning. 🥳
Meeting their new teachers and reconnecting with their friends was the highlight of the morning. 🌷
Our new students have settled in and we look forward to a wonderful 2026.💓

We cannot wait to welcome all our students back to school and fill our campus with laughter and learning.
Soon we will get to hug all our little ones and hear all about their wonderful festive season.

The Growing Garden Preschool was founded by Sherrene James who has extensive experience and qualifications in Education and has been working with young children for the past 11 years of her life.
Children are a blessing to us and to watch a child grow is the greatest gift this world has to offer. Children are innocent and trusting and in their early years they need guidance respect and ultimately to be loved! She wanted a preschool where children could learn in an environment of love and care. Her dream is to create a space where children can blossom!
