Ever noticed how some animals have vertical slit pupils, others have horizontal ones, and some have round pupils like ours? It’s not random—it’s evolution at work! 👇

🔳 Horizontal Pupils – The Eyes of the Prey
Found in animals like sheep, goats, and horses. These wide, panoramic pupils help them scan the horizon for danger and maintain stability and awareness of the ground while running.

🔲 Vertical Pupils – The Eyes of the Predator
Seen in cats, snakes, and crocodiles. These narrow slits sharpen depth perception and enhance focus, especially in low light—perfect for stealthy ambushes.

⚫ Round Pupils – The All-Purpose View

Marcy Borders, a 28-year-old employee at the Bank of America in the World Trade Center, survived the building’s collapse on September 11, 2001. The image became widely recognized, and Borders became known as "The Dust Lady." She passed away from cancer on August 24, 2015.
