It takes a school with vision to prepare a young man for life. St Alban’s College is a young, vibrant Anglican boys’ school, with Grades 8 to 12.

It came into existence on 1 February 1963 with a total of 37 boys and a complement of 3 masters. We now number over 560 boys and over 60 teachers, plus an array of support staff

A fresh new look for St Alban’s Basketball.

Our refurbished basketball courts are complete, and the final result is nothing short of spectacular. Clean lines, vibrant colours and a world class playing surface have transformed this space into a facility our boys can be truly proud of.

A stunning addition to our campus and another step forward for the game at St Alban’s College.

Our boys recently had the privilege of visiting Sling Aircraft, a globally recognised and proudly South African leader in the design and manufacture of high performance light sport aircraft.

Located less than 100 km from St Alban’s College, Sling Aircraft has earned an international reputation for innovation, reliability and adventure, with its aircraft having successfully circumnavigated the globe on multiple occasions.

The visit provided a fascinating behind the scenes look at the manufacturing process, allowing the boys to see firsthand how these remarkable aircraft are transformed from raw aluminium and carbon fibre components into world class flying machines. From engineering and assembly to testing and final preparation, the experience offered valuable insight into the precision, skill and technology involved in modern aircraft production.

Adding to the excitement, three of the aircraft the boys saw during their visit took to the skies the following day at the Swartkops Museum Airshow.

A sincere thank you to the Sling Aircraft team for an inspiring and memorable experience.
