What a journey it has been. To every player, coach, manager, parent, and supporter, Thank you for making this tournament one to remember.

We head home with grateful hearts, tired legs, a few stiff bodies, and countless memories that will stay with us long after the final whistle. The results matter, but the friendships built, the lessons learned, and the moments shared together matter even more.

The WinterFest Games, proudly hosted by St Dominic’s College, Welkom, are officially underway! 🔥💙

Three days of passion, unforgettable moments, and incredible school sport await. Our learners are ready to give it everything they’ve got.

CBC Mount Edmund is here, prepared to compete, learn, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

A special milestone for our Class of 2026! ✨

Today, our Grade 11 learners proudly organised and handed out the Matric Dance invitations, marking the start of an exciting season for our Matrics. This year’s theme, Silk & Steel, was revealed as the invitations were handed out, with everyone enjoying non-alcoholic refreshments while sharing in the excitement of this memorable occasion.

We can’t wait to see how Silk & Steel comes to life!

A little throwback to a special Father’s Day celebration at Little Mount! 💙

Our dads teamed up with their little ones for a fun-filled LEGO Building Challenge, putting their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test. From imaginative creations to plenty of laughs, it was a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time together and make lasting memories.

Thank you to all the fathers and father figures who joined us and helped make the day so special. We loved celebrating with you!

Honouring Madiba’s legacy through learning, kindness and service. 💛

Our Grade 11 learners led a meaningful Nelson Mandela Day assembly, encouraging the High School to reflect on the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela and the values he stood for. Learners also added heartfelt messages to our Prayer Wall, creating a beautiful display of hope and compassion.

As part of our Mandela Day outreach, the High School collected toiletries that will be packaged and delivered to the Lodewyk Spies Old Age Home in Eersterust. We also celebrated learners who supported the Clothes to Good initiative by donating green bags, receiving spekboom plants and H&M vouchers in recognition of their efforts.

Our Primary School learners also gathered for a special Nelson Mandela Day assembly, where they learnt about Madiba’s life and the importance of kindness, respect and serving others.

Inspired by these values, the Primary School is collecting donations for the Wollies Animal Shelter, reminding us all that every act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference.

Together, our school community continues to honour Nelson Mandela’s legacy by turning compassion into action.

Sports News

CBC Mount Edmund is proud to celebrate a significant achievement within our Sports Department.

We extend our sincere congratulations to Coach Max, Coach Larelle, and Coach Sammy for representing Gauteng at the National Winter Sports School Games in East London. Their dedication and commitment to excellence continue to reflect positively on our school community.

A special commendation goes to Max Moeketsi and the U14 Boys’ Hockey Team for their outstanding performance in securing a silver medal.

This achievement is a testament to their hard work, teamwork, and perseverance.
We thank all our coaches for their continued efforts in inspiring and developing our learners, and for their invaluable contribution to building future champions.
