Fresh Cuts, Big Confidence ✂️✨

Thank you to Mobile Barber Co (MBC) and McDonald’s for the amazing initiative at Unica School Main Building!

Once a month, the MBC team comes to us and gives our learners free haircuts right at school. No travel, no extra cost: just neat, confident kids ready to take on the day. 💙🧩🌈

This has been a huge help for parents, saving time and money while making sure learners feel cared for, valued and proud of how they look. It also creates such a positive vibe at school when the barbers arrive!

We were excited to host a multidisciplinary team from a Middleburg school at Unica this week! 🌈♾️🧩

It was a wonderful morning of collaboration: sharing ideas, strategies and good practices that support learners with autism. Moments like these remind us how much stronger we are when we learn from each other. 🤝💡

🎨✨ Staff Skills Development at Unica School ✨🎨

Our Unica School staff had an inspiring training session with Craft, learning to design and print custom T-shirts and cards!

This hands-on skills development not only builds creativity, but opens new opportunities for our staff and learners. We can’t wait to see what they create next. 💙

Child Protection Week 2026 💙✋

Unica School for Learners with Autism came together with stakeholders from various departments and organisations to commemorate Child Protection Week 2026. 🌈🧩

The focus: promoting the safety, wellbeing and rights of learners with autism. Many of our students face extra vulnerability to abuse, neglect, bullying and exploitation due to communication and social challenges: so awareness and action matter more than ever. ♾️🧩💙

Thank you to all our partners who stood with us to protect, educate and empower every child. Together, we build safer spaces where every voice is heard and every learner is protected. 🌈
