In light of recent rumors, and a fake message that is being spread we need to address this. There will be normal school tomorrow 30 October. Exams will continue as planned. We have not received any formal communication that there will be a public holiday from the department of education.

In Loving Memory of a Bright Star: Mojalefa Ridge Mabuse (24 April 2009 - 30 September 2023).

It is with profound sadness that we come together to remember and honour the life of a young soul who touched the hearts of all who knew him, Mojalefa.

On the fateful day of 30 September 2023, we lost not just a learner, but a remarkable young person whose presence lit up our school.

Mojalefa was born on 24 April 2009, and in his short but impactful life, he taught us invaluable lessons about kindness, friendship, and the unwavering passion he held for soccer. He was not just a student; he was a soccer enthusiast who lived and breathed the sport. His dedication to the game was matched only by the radiant smile that seemed to never leave his face.

Tragically, while on his way to soccer practice, Mojalefa was struck by a car, and despite the best efforts of medical professionals, he succumbed to his injuries. This untimely loss is a stark reminder of the fragility of life, and we mourn not only for Mojalefa but for the multitude of lives we've lost in the Hillview family recently. The weight of these losses has cast a profound shadow over our school community, and we share in the collective sorrow and grief that envelopes us.

Mojalefa will forever be remembered for the warmth and kindness he extended to everyone he met. His friendly disposition made him a cherished friend to many, and his presence was a source of joy to both his peers and teachers. In our hearts, he will forever remain the boy with a beaming smile, who brightened even the darkest of days.

As we gather to commemorate Mojalefa's life, let us also reflect on the importance of cherishing each moment, nurturing the bonds we share, and honouring his memory by carrying forward the kindness he so effortlessly bestowed upon others.

In recognition of the sensitivities surrounding the recent losses our school has endured, we extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to the families of all the souls we've bid farewell to.

In unity, we find strength, and in remembrance, we find healing.

Mojalefa may have left our physical world, but his spirit and the indelible mark he left on our hearts will continue to shine brightly.

In Loving Memory of Kylin Padayachee.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved member of our school community, Kylin. He departed from this world on 10 September 2023, leaving us all in mourning.

Kylin was not just a learner at our school; he was a bright and shining presence in our halls. He touched the lives of teachers, classmates, and staff with his infectious, enthusiastic smile and warm, friendly personality.

Kylin had a passion for Hospitality and Rugby which he pursued with dedication, making his presence in the classroom an inspiration to all.

Beyond academics, Kylin was known for his kindness and friendliness. He was a true friend to many, always willing to lend a hand or offer a kind word to those in need.

As we remember Kylin, let us cherish the memories we shared and the impact he had on our lives. Though his time with us was tragically short, he will forever remain in our hearts as a bright star, a testament to the potential and goodness that exists within each of us.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Padayachee family during this difficult time. We offer our deepest condolences and support to them as we collectively grieve the loss of a remarkable young individual.
