Ratio

Ratio is used to compare two or more similar situation or items. We use numbers in specific order to compare situations or items

A of three to four can be written in three ways
-As one value over another (3/4)
-Using a colon (3:4)
-As percentage (75%)

Example
1.share R64 000 in ratio 2:6
Answer

2+6=8
(When asked to share using a ratio, you add the ratios then you say the original ratio over the sum of ratios then you multiply it by the value your suppose to share)
-6/8×R64 000
-48 000

The formula for calculating simple interest is
SI=prt\100 or A=p(1+i×n)

Compound
A=p(1+I)n(it's to the power n)
