Learning extends beyond the classroom. Through a Fire Awareness Campaign presented in partnership with eThekwini Fire & Emergency Services, learners had the opportunity to meet firefighters, explore a fire engine, and learn valuable fire safety skills. By exposing children to practical, real-world learning experiences, Toyota Teach helps schools equip learners with knowledge that can protect lives, build confidence and encourage responsible decision-making.

Foundation Phase is where a child learns to read, learns to count, and learns whether or not they're the kind of person who can do this. Get those years right and everything after them gets easier. Miss them, and a learner spends the rest of school trying to catch up on something nobody had time to go back and teach again. That's why Toyota Teach mentors work alongside Grade R to Grade 3 educators, strengthening the foundations that shape every learner's future.
