🎓 A Proud UAP Moment!
Today we celebrate a historic milestone for the University Access Project (UAP).
One of our participants from the UAP Class of 2022 has officially graduated from university — the first graduate from a group of 50 determined young people who began this journey with us three years ago.
This achievement is more than a graduation. It is proof that access, support, and belief in young people can change futures.
When the Class of 2022 joined UAP, many were navigating university applications, financial aid, and the transition from high school to higher education for the very first time. Through mentorship, guidance, and a supportive community, they took that leap.
Today, we celebrate the first of many success stories to come.
Congratulations to our trailblazer! We are proud of you Thobeka
You are opening the door for the rest of the Class of 2022 and inspiring the next generation of UAP participants.
As we step into UAP 2026, this milestone reminds us why the work matters — and why we must continue expanding opportunities for more young people to access university and succeed.
Thank you to everyone that has supported, none of this would be possible without your support. Special mention goes to our initial partners Hollywood Foundation, Thomas more college and Lindiwe Khuzwayo her supportive circle of friends, members of the Not for Bookworms book club.
The support of our Patron Ntombikayise Sibhidla and Team Nokuthula Ka Makhanya-Sibiya, Nontuthuko Khuzwayo and Skhumbuzo Mngoma. Our team of volunteers, Siyabonga. Makhosazane Zungu Amanda Bani, Hlengiwe Slindile Mavimbela Celiwe Madlopha & Wylie and many more that have contributed.
