My daughter got sick in the middle of February and I lost my mind a little. My daughter has never been admitted to hospital and she's an only child and while we're both very strong people those days were hell on earth. I kept pretending to be ok infront of her but anytime I got a moment alone I'd just feel tears by my top lip. Like, how?? What happened? How does one decide on healthier food and then the child ends up hospitalized? While her diagnosis had nothing to do with food it was just so weird to me.

Anyway, even though I wasn't taking pics or posting, I am so grateful for LunchMates coz it gave me a sense of normalcy. Baking pies, the crunch of lettuce under the knife...angazi ngingaychaza kanjani lento but packing lunches was keeping me sane and I am so grateful
