Good news from Feb:
Happy to announce that SEKO Arts has been selected as KZN’s Top 2 for BASA’s Top 25 participants in the Catalyst Phase– the final phase of the Debut Programme.
Thank you for your votes and continued support; there will be more work, more tears and learning to fly in this phase, but I know a thing about Lift, so let’s get through this initial turbulence.
Top 2! ReTsene, Siyabangena,
WE’RE INSIDE!

DIE VEGAN EN DIE JAGTER | THE VEGAN AND THE HUNTER

MEET Tshidi: the animated and altruistic progressive artist. She quotes Mam Winnie & hooks, spits a scripture from Esther, dabbles in Sanskrit & preaches plant-based ministries with a hashtag NICE & heart eye emoji.
The circular contradictions in her life inspire the “discourse of our discontent” and she will do whatever it takes to keep her art practice at the edge of what’s pop.

MEET Jan: The PH. Something in between every stereotype and every hope that he is as naive & sincere as he presents himself to be. An outdoorsy brother with a heart for wildlife… being in it, getting close to it, and sometimes being… it?

Meet Ongezwa. The vision seer, the true definition of ‘partner in crime’. She’s the best friend that supports Tshidi’s sometimes…questionable, creative experiments. In the world of Die Vegan, she is the voice of creative reason for this night’s dangerous affair. Yes! Sis is all parts media genius.
