The thrills, the spills, the near misses, the triumphs, the “what ifs”… and the future races still beckoning! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
What an absolutely fun-filled and exciting Inter-House Competition it was at SpaceAge Independent School!
For the very first time, we hosted a Teachers’ and Parents’ Race — and what a highlight it was! The energy, laughter, and competitive spirit truly made the day unforgettable.
We witnessed new champions rise, celebrated our perennial winners, and cheered for every courageous attempt. But in truth, the biggest winners of the day were all the participants who gave their best and showed incredible sportsmanship.
A heartfelt thank you 🙏 to all the parents who came out to support us. Your presence, cheers, and encouragement meant more than words can say. Together, we are building not just athletes, but confident, resilient young leaders.
As we look ahead to our cluster competitions, we carry forward the lessons learned, the memories made, and the determination to soar even higher.
At SpaceAge, we don’t just compete —
✨ We participate.
✨ We grow.
✨ We conquer.
The future races are calling… and we are ready!

Day of Reconciliation Message | SpaceAge Independent School

Dear SpaceAge Family,

Today, as we observe the Day of Reconciliation, we pause to reflect on who we are, where we come from, and—most importantly—how we choose to walk together going forward.

Reconciliation is more than a public holiday. It is a call to understanding, to empathy, and to unity. It reminds us that while our stories may be different, our shared humanity binds us together. At SpaceAge Independent School, we believe that education is not only about academic excellence, but also about shaping hearts that value respect, compassion, and dignity.

Our school is a reflection of South Africa itself—rich in diversity, culture, language, and perspective. It is within this diversity that our greatest strength lies. When we listen to one another, learn from one another, and uplift one another, we create a community where every child and every family truly belongs.

On this day, we encourage our learners to be bridges rather than barriers, to choose kindness over division, and to lead with understanding in their daily interactions. These are the lessons that shape not just good students, but responsible citizens and future leaders.

As the SpaceAge family—parents, guardians, learners, teachers, and staff—let us recommit ourselves to unity, mutual respect, and shared purpose. Together, we can build a future rooted in reconciliation, hope, and progress.

Happy Day of Reconciliation.

Warm regards,
SpaceAge Independent School

END OF TERM MESSAGE – SPACEAGE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Teachers,

As we close this term, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to every member of our SpaceAge Independent School family. Your support, dedication, and teamwork have carried us through a year of growth, achievement, and positive transformation.

We are proud to announce that we end the term on a remarkable high. Lesego Witte was honoured at the Intermediate District Awards for outstanding performance in the Mathematics Olympiads, a reflection of hard work, discipline, and academic excellence. We also celebrate Noah Thoobe (Grade 4), who made us proud by securing a bronze medal at the Gauteng Inter-Regional Chess Competitions. These achievements are not only individual victories but a testament to the collective commitment of our learners, teachers, and supportive families.

Thank you to all parents and guardians for your continued trust, and to our teachers for their unwavering dedication to shaping confident, capable young minds. To our learners—well done for your achievements, improvements, and resilience throughout the year.

We wish everyone a restful break and a joyous, safe holiday season. May you return refreshed and ready for the exciting year ahead.

Warm regards,
SpaceAge Independent School Management
