Bentley Preparatory School

The Grade 5 classes had an inciteful and interesting excursion to The Cradle of Mankind at Maropeng.

They were shown fossils as well as various artifacts. They were taught how fire was made in pre-historic years.

The guide explained DNA strands to them and they were showed skulls of pre-historic humans.

The Grade 4 classes visited Croc World. They saw crocodiles and managed to "pet" some snakes and bearded dragons.

Even though it was a chilly day the warm welcome and the heartfelt laughter brightened up the day.

Some of the young ones even faced their biggest fears and handled snakes and other critters

Well done Grade 4!

Our Grade 6 class truly enjoyed their yearly excursion to Jozi X. Their teamwork and leadership skills were tested in the most fun ways.

From ladder and puzzle building to survivor exercises.

Well done to the Grade 6 class for doing so well and making the day more exciting with each activity.

The Bunny Class(Grade 00) had a very fun and eventful day at the Midrand Fire Department. They were taught about fire safety and also had the opportunity to handle a fire hose.

Our grade 6 pupils really enjoyed the experience at Jozi X. There was a variety of activities in which they showed their comradery and leadership skills.

They truly had a fun day out!

For Mandela Day we decided to support our local SPCA.

Today we were accompanied by our Headgirl Liyana and Headboy Sazi,to handover all the contributions received.

When we got there we were welcomed by Gilly The Goat. Apparently whenever anyone visits or to drop off contributions Mr Gilly 1st inspects the people and the contributions. Luckily Gilly LOVED us and all the wonderful contributions.
