Our Grade R learners at Curro Midrand Sagewood had a wonderful time exploring letters in a fun and creative way! ✂️🎨
The learners carefully tore paper to create alphabet letters and then used finger painting to decorate and personalise their names. Through this engaging activity, they developed important fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, letter recognition, and early literacy skills.
Learning through play and creativity helps build a strong foundation for future learning while making every moment enjoyable and meaningful.

Last week, our Grade 3 learners completed their isiZulu assessment for the term. One of their favourite activities was creating a drawing inspired by a story about a teacher watering flowers.
It was wonderful to see their creativity, imagination, and unique interpretations come to life through their artwork. We are so proud of the effort and enthusiasm they showed throughout the assessment! 🌼🎨

To end off the week, they created their very own snowmen! ⛄ Using their fine motor and problem-solving skills, they carefully cut, assembled, and dressed their snowmen, complete with a carrot nose.

What an unforgettable evening on the 22nd of May at the CCNF Gauteng South Choral Celebration Festival held at the prestigious Wits Linder Auditorium! 🎶✨
As the youngest choir on the programme, our talented learners proudly performed “KwaNgena Thina Bo”, “Nelson Mandela, Usilethela Uxolo” and “Rene Rebapala”, filling the auditorium with energy, joy and school spirit. The crowd’s loud “Yiyo! Yiyo! Yiyo!” alongside proud chants of “Curro! Curro! Curro!” made the moment even more special! 💙
A heartfelt thank you to the Choral Celebration Network Foundation (CCNF) for supporting and guiding our learners through this incredible experience. We are so proud of our choir for representing the school with confidence, passion and excellence! 🎤👏
