On 29 August 2026, we had the pleasure of hosting our Grade 8 Orientation Day! 💙

It was a wonderful day filled with excitement, new friendships, fun activities and an opportunity for our newest learners to get to know their school, teachers and fellow classmates. 📚🤝

Mrs Daniels was a valued member of our Bloubergrant High School family.

📍 Candidates can collect their results at the school or designated centre where they wrote their exams, or access them online using the link or QR code provided.

🌊 Mandela Day Beach Clean-Up 🧤♻️

Join us as we make a difference and help protect our beautiful coastline!

As part of our Mandela Day initiative, learners are invited to participate in a fun and meaningful Beach Clean-Up at Blouberg Beach. Together, we’ll collect litter, learn about environmental conservation, and enjoy a morning of teamwork and community service.

🥷 Prefect Team Building | Total Ninja Cape Town

Our Bloubergrant High School Prefects traded the classroom for the obstacle course as they enjoyed an action-packed team-building outing at Total Ninja Cape Town!

The day was filled with fun, laughter and plenty of challenges that encouraged teamwork, communication, resilience and trust. From tackling obstacle courses to cheering one another on, our prefects demonstrated the leadership qualities that make them excellent role models within our school community.

A special thank you to everyone who helped organise this memorable experience and to our prefects for their enthusiasm, positive attitudes and school spirit throughout the day.

🎭 Culture News | Bloubergrant High School

Our Culture Department recently had the privilege of taking 60 learners from Grades 8–11 to the Cape Town Opera’s production of The Cunning Little Vixen at the Joseph Stone Auditorium in Athlone.

The Cunning Little Vixen, composed by Leoš Janáček, is a beautifully crafted opera that follows the life of a clever young fox as she explores the wonders of nature, freedom, love and the cycle of life. Through its captivating music, imaginative storytelling and colourful characters, the production encourages audiences to reflect on the relationship between humanity and the natural world.

Our learners thoroughly enjoyed this unique cultural experience, which exposed them to the world of live opera while broadening their appreciation for the performing arts. Thank you to the organisers, staff and accompanying educators who made this memorable outing possible.
