We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Department of Health, particularly Lydenburg Hospital and Gateway Clinic, for their generous donation of sanitary towels to our girls at Mashishing Secondary School. 🙏🏽💙

This meaningful gesture goes beyond the donation itself—it promotes dignity, confidence, menstrual health, and helps ensure that our learners can attend school without unnecessary barriers during their menstrual cycle.

We deeply appreciate your continued commitment to supporting the wellbeing and education of our learners. Your partnership makes a real difference in the lives of our girls and our school community.

Thank You to Our Parents and Guardians 🙏🏽

We sincerely thank all parents and guardians who attended our General Parents Meeting yesterday 26 August 2026. Your presence and active participation demonstrate your commitment to the education, development and well-being of our learners.

During the meeting, we reflected on our Term 2 school performance and engaged in important discussions around teenage pregnancy, learner discipline, the commencement of Common Assessments, admission 2027,and the School Code of Conduct.

These are matters that require a strong partnership between the school and home. We believe that when teachers, parents and guardians work together, we create a supportive environment where our learners can thrive academically, socially and responsibly.

Thank you for your valuable contributions, support and willingness to work with the school in addressing the challenges facing our learners.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our learners. 🤝🏽📚

Ingoma Sub-District Festival Success

We proudly congratulate our learners who participated in the Ingoma Sub-District Festival, held on 22 August 2026 at Kellysville.

Our teams delivered outstanding performances, with Dipepetlwana, Isibhaca and Ummiso all achieving Position 1 in their respective categories.

Following this remarkable achievement, our learners have qualified to represent the sub-district at the District Festival, which will take place at Thaba Chweu Boarding School from 4–6 September 2026.

Participation in cultural activities such as these plays an important role in developing learners beyond the classroom. It nurtures talent, discipline, confidence, teamwork, cultural pride and a strong sense of identity, while providing learners with opportunities to showcase their abilities and learn from others.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the team managers and teachers who dedicated their time, effort and support to making this initiative a success. Your commitment to our learners is greatly valued.

Congratulations to our learners, and all the best at the District Festival! Let us continue raising the Mashishing flag high! 🏆👏🏽
