Dear Students
Our ISRC in its rightful context in being an eligible student leadership Structure would like to submit its unapologetic and uncompromised revolutionary greetings in the name of academic revolution and reform advocacy.
From the the office of the ISRC, I would like to take this time to welcome you to the 2017 Academic year.i hope you all had well-deserved festive break and are well rested to engage with the challenges you will be endeavouring upon this year. Allow me again, from the aforementioned office, to encourage the fostering of a good working relationship amongst all stakeholders, in particular those that are the heartbeat of our wonderful college. Being the studentsand,the staff and the management of Taletso TVET College, and all this in order to redeem the image and core values of our beloved institution.
At the helm of our exodus into 2017, the words ‘’Each one, Teach One’’ should reside and resonate in our hearts and in our minds. Given the status quo of our college, our community and our country at large,there has never been an opportune time as the current to apply our revolutionary mind-sets in order to better our academic future. Let us, as academic, apply our minds (in achieving academic excellence), our bodies(in being proactive in our participation in recreational activities) and our souls(in aligning our spiritually with its source) to change and dismantle all negative paradigms. The complete overhaul of our education system depends on us as the beneficiaries who want to see,not only our college, but our country, reaching its deserved heights.
We cannot continue to do things in the same way every time and yet expect different results! With that being said, I then urge all students to realize how important they each are and how critical it is for them to be actively involved in part-taking in the change they would like to see taking place in their academic progress whilst at this college.
Transformation is not an event, but a process, Rome wasn’t built in a day but nonetheless it was built. Let it go down with history that the class of 2016 left a long lasting legacy with footprints on the sands of time where every student who comes into the college will see this institution as one of choice.
As I conclude I must say that SRC condemns, with endmost contempt, a situation where in which students would overstay their welcome in the college.
I wish you all a prosperous and most fulfilling 2017. Welcome to Taletso TVET College and thank you for making us YOUR institution of choice.
