Report from ABC MOTSEPE SASCE 2026 DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIPS

Our SCHOOL CHOIR and FOLKLORE participated in SASCE2026 Capricorn South District championships. And our results are as follows:

Secondary A Western
- Position 2
Secondary A African
- Position 2
Bass/Baritone Solo
- Position 5
Folklore
- Position 4

Our choir did so well with their first attempt in Secondary A category after being promoted from secondary B, we have also introduced folklore group and they performed at SASCE stage for the first time and they have represented us very well.

We would like to thank parents who allowed their children to participate in SASCE programs.

• A huge congratulations to the team of 3 learners as they got position 3 at the Provincial Level. We are very proud of our learners 🥳Competition was very tough but you fought your way through it! 😁
• Unfortunately, we will not be proceeding to the National Level since they take only No. 1 & 2.

Our girls obtained POSITION 2 at The District Level and this made them to qualify for the Provincial Level.

REQUEST FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT 🇿🇦➡️🇻🇳

Boitumelo Matlaila is a Grade 10 learner at SJ Van Der Merwe. She is a member of Science Club and English Society. Boitumelo need financial support to fund her International Trip to Vietnam 🇻🇳. The program only covered 50% of her expenses. She now requires money to cover her Flight ✈️ Fares and Transportation costs from Lebowakgomo to OR Tambo.

The program will not only benefit Boitumelo but will benefit the entire country as she will share her experiences with other learners.
