𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 & 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

𝗪𝗶𝗠𝗦𝗔’𝘀 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱: 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 is a day designed to give young women a clear, practical look into the world of mining, engineering and STEM - helping them understand what’s possible and where their strengths can take them.

On 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟭𝟱 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, we’ll be at 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝘂𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻, connecting Grade 9–11 learners with mentors, role models and meaningful insight into the diverse careers across the mining value chain.

This event supports learners as they explore STEM pathways and make informed subject choices, giving them the confidence to consider futures they may not have seen for themselves before.

For 𝗪𝗶𝗠𝗦𝗔, this initiative matters because it offers young women the encouragement, guidance and visibility they need to picture themselves in STEM and mining - and to take confident steps toward those futures.

Thank you to 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗼 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 for sponsoring this initiative and helping us bring meaningful opportunities to young women in Kuruman. Their support enables us to create moments that broaden perspectives and show learners what their futures in STEM and mining can hold.
