On the 13th of September, our club took two teams to Nationals. The competition was tough, with many outstanding ideas on display.

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our incredible robotics teams!

Our boys' team proudly received the prestigious Stuart Windram Award for exceptional creativity, innovation, and excellence.
Our all-girl team were crowned South African Champions in the Senior Future Innovators category.

ROBOKIDS CHASE GLORY Cape team needs help to win national robotics title

Local robotics teams aim for national glory but need support Four learners from Robokids, a robotics club in Kuils River, are set to represent the Western Cape in the national leg of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) in Pretoria on 13 September but need support to get there.

🌟 Robotics Makes History 🌟

On 9 August, four exceptional learners from Robokids Kuils River achieved a groundbreaking milestone at the Future Innovators World Robot Olympiad Competition, making history in the Western Cape by securing first place in both the Senior and Junior categories! 🎉🤖

This remarkable victory has earned them the honour of representing the Western Cape at the National Championships in Johannesburg on 13 September.

👏 A special congratulations to Caleb McKerry, who has been selected to the team.

The Nationals are more than just a competition – they are a platform to showcase innovation, gain exposure to STEM excellence at a national level, and inspire the next generation of young minds in our community. 🌍💡

We are beyond proud of our learners and can’t wait to see them shine on the national stage!
