All Grade 7 learners who applied for admission to Sikhululekile SOS are hereby reminded that the placement test will be written on either of the following dates:

📅 Saturday, 15 August 2026 tomorrow
📅 Saturday, 22 August 2026 next week

Learners may choose one of the two dates to write the placement test.

⏰ Reporting Time: 08:30
👔 Dress Code: School uniform

Parents/guardians are kindly requested to ensure that learners arrive on time and in the correct school uniform and have writing tools.

Subject: Urgent Notice – Deadline for Laptop/Tablet Submission

Please be notified that all learners are required to submit their school-issued laptops or tablets for capturing and inventory purposes.

If a device is not submitted by Friday, 29 May 2026, it will be officially recorded as a lost item. Consequently, an invoice will be issued to the parents/guardians to cover the replacement cost of the unreturned device.

Please be advised regarding the fake news circulating regarding a school closure from April 28th to May 4th, that this information is incorrect and did not originate from the Department of Education or the school.

To ensure there is no confusion, please take note of the official holiday schedule:
Official Public Holidays

• Monday, 27 April: Freedom Day
• Friday, 1 May: Workers' Day

School will be in full session on the following days:
• Tuesday, 28 April
• Wednesday, 29 April
• Thursday, 30 April
• Monday, 4 May
