This month we celebrate the women who bring so much heart to Bongani. 💛

There is something very special about seeing our little ones learn and play outdoors. 🌿💛

At Bongani, our garden was created with so much thought and care. It gives our children space to explore, discover, get their hands dirty, ask questions and begin to understand the world around them.

From the vegetable garden to the playground, these spaces form part of the everyday learning that happens at Bongani. They encourage curiosity, independence and an early love and respect for nature.

We are so proud of our garden, and especially grateful to the staff who care for it so lovingly and help keep it a beautiful space for our children to enjoy.

There is something very special about a school day that smells like a braai! 🍔💛

Our Burger Fundraiser brought plenty of excitement to Bongani Pre-School, with delicious beef burgers on buns, happy little faces and a lovely sense of community around the school.

At just R35 each, every burger sold helped support the children of Bongani and contribute towards the learning, care and joyful school experiences we work to provide each day.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who bought a burger, supported the fundraiser and helped make the day such a success. Your support means so much to our school and to the children at the heart of it.

This week at Bongani, our little learners are exploring the theme of Pets. 🐾

Through stories, conversations and playful activities, the children are learning that pets need love, care and gentle handling. They are beginning to understand that animals rely on us for food, safety, kindness and attention.

Learning about pets also gives children the opportunity to grow in empathy and responsibility. It helps them recognise that every living creature has needs and deserves to be treated with care.

These simple lessons encourage our little ones to become thoughtful, compassionate children who understand the joy and responsibility that comes with loving an animal.
