15 days to go before our children commence with their June exams. It is highly important to assist our kids at home with any kind of school activities that must done as this is an extension of what is done in the classroom. Parental involvement does somehow shape a child's future. It is really heart breaking to know that we still have children with learning barriers and there's no assistance which is being provided whatsoever, let us help where we can, for our children's future.

Creating a conducive environment for our children is a major priority and we are on track to welcome learners from grade R-7 for 2016!!!!!!!!!

It's a New Year and we want to have a Blissful year, a year fully dedicated to our children 100% and beyond. Let us make a change in our children's lives.

One of the most significant barriers to learning for learners in special and ‘ordinary’ schools is
the curriculum. In this case, barriers to learning arise from different aspects of the curriculum,
such as:
• The content (i.e. what is taught).
• The language or medium of instruction.
• How the classroom or lecture is organised and managed.
• The methods and processes used in teaching.
• The pace of teaching and the time available to complete the curriculum.
• The learning materials and equipment that is used.
• How learning is assessed.

All the aforementioned barriers can be overcomed by flexibility and selfless dedication

5 weeks to go and then we close for the festive season. Final examinations will commence on the 16th November 2015, i hope our children are ready for their exams. The excitement I see on our kids' faces when they know that we are about to close for holidays it is not a mutual feeling all around as for some children Manzini Primary School is their sanctuary, this is full proof that a school is not just a learning centre but a home away from home. As we bow out from 2015 next month please d**k aan die wat minder het..........choose randomly which child would you mentor, 2016 is near make a change. Pay it forward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is hard to believe that after+30 years HIV and AIDS is still a gigantic stigma. Other chronic diseases are easily confessed but we remain silent when it comes to the biggest illness which harshly ravages all people irrespective of one's creed. We are all affected by the disease which is treated like leprosy, this is not a topic that we easily dine over nor casually speak of amongst friends. A child born with HIV does not have a bleak future as long as the stigma can be assassinated from our minds, the child must not be discriminated against, if there's no parental involvement in the child's life step in and make a difference your positive attitude will go a long way and that sigh of relief will surely make you feel worthwhile. Pay it forward..................

Losing focus on the core business of the day is easily brought about by senseless distraction created by myopic individuals, an introspection cleanses the soul and this help people to make sane decisions. Is it possible now to organize an early Christmas lunch for 1322 children?

It is a great privilege to work in a community of children who come from diverse background, as one learns invaluable qualities from each child. In loco parentis must be exceptionally practiced in totality to maintain consistency from home to school. Let us SPRING about and raised a nation of children that are overly cared for.

As we celebrated Mandela Day, one more child was laid to rest.....Palesa Tsotetsi a grade 7 learner, May Her Young Soul Rest In Loving Peace.
