"Mindfulness works with continuous awareness of body, breath; feelings, thoughts, intentions. Our state of mind, our positive or negative attitude towards the world, is closely related to our experiences of happiness or suffering. Mindfulness is awareness of everything that is happening in the moment of 'Now'. Mindfulness is a self development technique that will change the focus of our mind towards happiness.
Mindfulness is continuous undisturbed awareness of the present moment. Fully aware of here, and now, we pay attention to what is happening right in front of us, we set aside our mental and emotional baggage. To be mindful we have to re-train our mind."

You have presumably heard the expression "Emotional Intelligence" commonly however what precisely is it? Also, why is it vital for kids to build up their Emotional intelligence?
Emotional intelligence, or emotional quotient (EQ) is a “person’s ability to identify, evaluate, control and express emotions.” It helps us communicate with others, negotiate situations and develop clear thought patterns.
IQ measures a person’s academic intelligence, whereas EQ measures emotional intelligence — a person’s ability to interact with others or ‘social intelligence’. People with high IQ do not always have social intelligence and may lack the skills to be successful in many current work environments.
In the event that we encourage EQ with our kids when they are young, we are setting them up to communicate well, create solid connections, arrange precarious circumstances, be pioneers in their field and as indicated by TalentSmart even make more cash. They will be more sympathetic and empathetic to their companions, accomplices and own kids, relate all the more effortlessly to others and have a more noteworthy mindfulness.
Can we teach our kids Emotional Intelligence?
Totally. Some children are all the more instinctually tuned in to their EQ and will be prepared to manage new or diverse circumstances and individuals all the more effectively. Others have a lower EQ from the beginning and need us to show them in a more engaged manner.
Notwithstanding, all kids need their EQ sustained and be bolstered through the minefield of enthusiastic experiences as they develop.
