These past months have been a devastating reminder of the constant fear women face every single day in South Africa.

For women, this isn't just news—it is the daily weight of walking alone, sharing live locations, checking in safely, and constantly altering routines just to survive. That burden is exhausting, and it should never be on women to protect themselves from violence.
