Plane travel with babies can feel daunting, but I promise you’ll get the hang of it!
Here are some tips and tricks that I find helpful ✈️🤍
- Try to be prepared: follow all the luggage rules I.e. weight, no electronics in check ins, nothing sharp in carry ons etc just to avoid any extra stress & remember everyone’s ID docs
- Travel as light as possible as far as carry on
- Use easy toys or snacks to distract and entertain
- You can sky check your pram and if it has a car seat attached to can sky check them together at the entrance to the plane
- Ensure babies are sucking at take off and landing to pop their ears
- I prefer to be the last on the plane and let the kids burn some energy just before boarding
- Don’t worry about others if your baby is crying, most people are lovely and understanding and you’ll probably never see them again anyway!
