SPORTS DAY IS HERE!

The final whistle on practice has blown; it's game time! Our staff and pupils are pumped and ready to give it their all at this annual favourite, and even the sun is showing up to cheer us on!

Buckle up, parents, because all those weeks of hard work and behind-the-scenes prep hit the field at 9am tomorrow morning!

Don't forget to rock your child's house colours to cheer them on!

Last Work Experience Day of Term 3!

Today marked our final Work Experience session for the term, and what a way to finish! Between Logwood Village and the Steyn City restaurant, every single pupil worked incredibly hard, rolled up their sleeves, and got stuck in.

They didn't just learn new skills, they learned the value of teamwork, and how working together makes even the toughest tasks feel a little lighter.

Work Experience like this means so much more for our special needs pupils. It gives them real-world confidence, a sense of purpose, and the chance to show just how capable and valued they are outside the classroom. Moments like these help build independence that lasts well beyond Term 3.

So proud of every pupil today. Here's to more of this next term!

Last Friday was so much more than just a Casual Day.

We were thrilled to welcome Douglasdale SAPS and the CPF to Unity College for a day full of connection, laughter, and community spirit!

Our pupils lit up as their community heroes arrived on the field for an afternoon of Bocce, soccer, and netball, followed by well-earned boerewors rolls, fruit, and juice. 🌭

Huge thanks to Freda and sponsors, Colonel Letswalo, Warrant Officer Mokwena, Douglasdale SAPS, Lizzy Mabena, the CPF team, and Pastor Zondi for making the day so special. 🙏

A little sunshine goes a long way!

Warmer, drier days have brought an extra spring to our step and plenty of happy spirits across Unity this week.

From joyful moments to meaningful learning, there is always something happening in our school community.

At Unity, we believe every pupil should be seen, heard, valued, and encouraged to reach beyond what they thought possible.

It’s the everyday moments, the learning, the laughter and the little steps forward that make our week so special.

Today, our pupils celebrated International Literacy Day in true Unity College style!

As part of this special day, our pupils came dressed in their favourite costumes, bringing plenty of colour, creativity and excitement to the school. And, of course, our teachers were not far behind, joining in the fun and embracing the spirit of the day!

A wonderful celebration of literacy, imagination and the joy of learning.
