Last year I had a bad fall that caused two fractures in my foot which lead to me sporting a moon boot for 9 weeks. Fast forward to almost a year later, and my ankle still hasn’t fully healed 💔 My injury makes it very difficult to exercise or train efficiently which has resulted in my weight gain.
Last week I visited Dr Danny Meyersfeld from who took samples of my DNA which will help me better understand my diet, health and physical activity to prompt a healthier lifestyle.
I’m most looking forward to DNAdiet results, as it will identify the correct diet or way of eating for ME. The results will not only manage my weight but also promotes healthy eating habits - foot injury or not.

Self-Care you say?
This year I’ve decided to go deep within -DNA deep - when it comes to myself and self care choices.
Last week I met with Dr Danny Meyersfeld of for a DNA test. No not my family tree one, which they do offer and will be trying out soon, but for Nutrigenomics which provides healthcare practitioners with an unparalleled depth of insight into my personal dietary needs through the study of the interaction between nutrition and my genes. From the results we’ll see how this effects my overall health, sports performance and recovery, skin and mind. How cool? Results take two weeks.. I’ll give you a peak into this process and more info when my results are out, be sure to be on the look out!

Went for a DNA test Looking forward to see what it feeds back to me. I did three tests:

Sport: helps with understanding what exercise/training works well for me. I think we might know the answer here😊

Health: what medications are most effective for me. We use meds and multi vitamins etc. whilst not understanding how our body is primed to absorb what effectively.

Nutrition: This one is going to be interesting. One size does not fit all. Important to know because nutrition is a big part in assisting performance in sport and helping alleviate any health issues one might have.
