Art with a purpose! 🎨 After our lesson on colors, the kids got hands-on with some creative artwork. Not only are they mastering their primary and secondary colors, but they’re also strengthening those essential fine motor skills through painting, cutting, and creating. Seeing them internalize the lesson through play is the best part of the day!

Opening the box helps develop fine motor skills and hand strength, while deciding what can fit inside encourages problem-solving and critical thinking. As the child chooses which objects to place in the box, they practice decision-making and improve hand–eye coordination by carefully guiding items in without dropping them. Recognizing that larger toys, like a big car, won’t fit and selecting smaller ones instead shows growing spatial awareness and reasoning. At the same time, filling the box introduces early math concepts such as counting, capacity, and understanding how much space is available.
Finger painting helps children build coordination, strengthen their hands, explore their senses, and express their creativity through fun, hands-on play.
