Rainbow Kids is a creche based in the Malatjie Informal Settlement in Lanseria, Johannesburg. Rainbow Kids is a privately run creche in northern Johannesburg.
Lucky More & her team care for 45 children aged 3 months to 6 years daily. Rainbow was started in the home of Lucky More in August 2014. There are now more than 60 children cared for daily by Lucky & her team. Lucky relies on minimal school fees and public donations to service this extremely poor community. Santa / Patient Focus Africa rolled in this past week with gifts galore!
Each of our children received a soft toy crocodile 🐊 in celebration of our outing to Croc City.
And our graduates received stationery packs for their move to BIG school in 2026.

We are having the most wonderful day at Croc City in Lanseria. Our kiddies are learning about crocodiles 🐊 & snakes 🐍 as well as having lots of time to play on the jungle gyms.

Our Story
Rainbow Kids is a privately run creche in northern Johannesburg near Lanseria airport. There is no electricity & no government funding available to the creche. It is a registered NPO and has a Section 18A certificate.
Rainbow was started in the home of Lucky More in August 2014. There are now 50 children cared for daily between the ages of 3 months and 6 years. There are also primary school children who come for aftercare.
Lucky relies on minimal school fees and public donations to service this extremely poor community.
