Rise & Reimagine: A Sweet Start for Women Who Mean Business.

We officially launched the University of Johannesburg Student Women Economic Empowerment Programme (SWEEP) under the UJ TTO. A bold step towards fostering Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurship (IDE) among women at UJ.

Our launch theme, Rise & Reimagine, came alive through an inspiring panel discussion on Entrepreneurial Resilience: Overcoming Failure and Adversity in Innovation-Driven Enterprises for Women. Together, we explored how women can turn challenges into opportunities and reimagine their journeys as innovation leaders.
This initiative is about more than entrepreneurship, it’s about building a movement where women entrepreneurs at UJ can thrive, innovate, and create impact.

A heartfelt thank you to the UJ SWEEP
Executive and our distinguished guests Ms Lerato Mokgomo, Ms Paballo Banks and Dr Ayanda Sibiya, whose wisdom and presence made the launch truly
unforgettable. Most importantly, thank you to all the attendees whose presence, energy, and engagement made this event special.
We invite all women entrepreneurs at UJ to join us on this journey of empowerment, collaboration, and innovation.
