This one cuts really deep. I think this is one of the few times I've cried upon hearing such news. I was supposed to take a picture with last week when we went to see you but forgot, you were so pleasant Squire, felt like back in 2006 when you chose me to mentor me. We were talking about me coming through to update my knowledge, straight from Dr Squire as I recently affectionately referred to you. I'm happy that I told you how much of a huge role you played in the lives of African creatives, you left me personally with a gift of copyright and intellectual property knowledge and I promise to pay it forward. I'm also forever grateful because I can protect and grow my own family's legacy because of you.
