OK this was a day to remember.
I was invited to do a podcast with to talk about my book. Kim has incredible insights into childhood trauma issues, so we genuinely have a lot to talk about.
While I'm waiting there walks in. I've looked up to her for the longest time as an international speaker, parenting and human potential expert.
I fortunately didn't do the deranged fan thing, and contained my elation at getting to meet her in person. Nikki did her podcast before mine, from which I gained incredible information to implement in my family and parenting style.
All the while I'm thinking, "she's going to do her podcast and leave" I was truly drafting that she wouldn't hear my interview. (I'm such a negative n***y.)
She didn't, she sat down and listened as I did my interview. How shocked was I when she gave me such positive feedback when I was done. (She stayed yay)
Thanks Kim for the awesome interview and thank you Nikki for swapping books and inscribing such a positive message to me.
I will devour and cherish it.
They say that one should never meet their hero's. That saying didn't hold true today, I did and I'm blessed.
