Headed to Africa / Safari & Conservation Adventures

We organize tailor-made Safari Conservation Adventures. How I travel matters. And I promise, we’ll also have loads of fun!

Traveling to Africa and experiencing epic landscapes, majestic wildlife, and diverse cultures is an incredible experience. Apart from doing some amazing safari trips, it’s always been important to me to understand about the critical issues affecting Africa’s wildlife and learn how we can conserve these amazing animals and preserve our ecosystems. So, I decided to combine my safari experiences with

These two seemed far more interested in each other than anything else happening around them. 🐆✨

A bit of play, a bit of wrestling, and a reminder that not every predator sighting is about the hunt.

Moments like this offer a glimpse into the social side of cheetahs. Young siblings will often spend months together after leaving their mother, strengthening bonds and practicing skills they'll need later in life.

And honestly, they're just fun to watch. 🌿

Family time in the African bush. 🦁❤️

A watchful lioness and her youngsters looking at what could be happening in the distance; other pride members or a potential meal? 🌿✨

While lions are known for their strength, it's scenes like these that reveal their softer side. Family bonds play a vital role in the survival of the pride, especially for the next generation growing up on the African plains.

A little tour of Nambiti Plains Lodge 🌿✨

One of the things I love most about safari is that where you stay becomes part of the experience. The views, the quiet moments between game drives, the chance to slow down and take it all in.

Nambiti Plains Lodge sits in a beautiful part of South Africa, surrounded by wilderness and big skies. The kind of place where you can sit for hours, coffee in hand, simply watching the landscape change with the light.

And that view at the end... not a bad way to spend a morning. ☕🌍

Lions are clever predators known for their stalking and hunting techniques. Their predatory behavior requires a coordinated effort by the pride, where lionesses play a significant role in the hunt, and the male lion takes a more limited role.

This collaborative approach allows lions to successfully capture their prey. 🦁

Lion hunting and social behaviors are great examples of nature's balance and adaptation, where cooperation within a pride ensures their survival and sustenance in the wild. 🌿✨

The Jao Concession is one of those places that stops you in your tracks. I loved visiting this area 🌿🐘

In the heart of the Okavango Delta, land and water blur into something almost otherworldly. Elephants moving through floodplains, hippos surfacing at dusk, Nile crocodiles basking on the banks.

Many wildlife filmmakers are drawn here, and it's easy to see why. The light, the landscape, the wildlife. All just there, waiting to be captured.

Wildebeest, impala, tsessebe, giraffe. No two days are the same. It's the feeling of this place that stays with you. ✨🌍

You get the feeling he knows exactly where he’s going. 🦁

Male lions can patrol for hours, sometimes days, before looping back to the pride. Every walk has purpose… checking boundaries, following scents, listening for rivals.

And then eventually, back home. Back to the lioness waiting in the grass 🌾

Quiet confidence. No rush.

The pool is closed! 🐘💦

When elephants decide your morning swim is actually their morning swim… you let them have it.

Elephants are surprisingly playful in water. They’ll swim, splash, roll around, and sometimes spend hours cooling off together, especially during hotter parts of the day.

Grant Fowlds made the wise decision to clear the pool very quickly 😂🐘

POV: high up in the sky! 🛩️🌍

Your runway is a dirt strip, your terminal is the savanna… no crowds, no chaos. Just bush, sky, and the wild heartbeat of Africa.

A safari starts long before the game drive does. ✨

Nothing like getting stuck behind a bush slow driver 🐘

Taking up the whole road, stopping for snacks every few feet, completely unbothered by anyone behind him.

Out here, nobody really minds the wait. Sometimes these are the moments you remember most… watching a giant move through the bush at his own pace, like the road was always his to begin with 🌿

And trust me, this is definitely one driver you do not want to tailgate 😅

There’s something about giraffes that makes everything slow down for a second 🦒

The tallest land animal on Earth, reaching up to 18 feet tall, yet somehow they move with this calm, almost weightless grace. One of my favorite facts is that despite those incredibly long necks, giraffes have the exact same number of neck vertebrae as humans… just seven. Nature really showing off again ✨

Watching them move through the bush always feels strangely peaceful. Quiet, elegant, completely unbothered by the chaos around them.
